Dear God,
Thank You for dying on the cross, thank You for coming into my life, thank You for saving me, protecting me, blessing me and forgiving me over and over again. Sorry for the times I let temptations overcome. I am weak and my strength is in Your hands. Your grace was so big that Your wide arms are always there to welcome me again.
Teach me to break down my pride.
Teach me to obey.
Teach me to trust.
Teach me to love.
You are my God.
If Joshua had given the people the rest that God has promised, God would not have spoken later about another day. As it is, however, there still remains for God’s people a rest like God’s resting on the seventh day. For those who receive that rest which God has promised will rest from their own work, just as God rested from His. Let us, then, do our best to receive that rest, so that no one of us will fall as they did because of their lack of faith.
Hebrews 3:15
Romans 6
11 In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. 12Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. 13 Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness. 14 For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.
Christians, now that we have been freed from the slavery of sin, we now have a choice. A choice between righteousness or sin. We know we are called to righteousness but how come we keep coming back to our old habits? Don’t feed your bodily desires and wicked minds, there is temptation and we can over come it because God did so.
A choice that we make today will determine the path we are taking and where it leads to. Small decisions leads to something or somewhere. You’ll never know how it went but soon you’ll find yourself at the gate of your destination. What choice are you making today? Does it honor God?
